I recently did an interview with Jerry Dahmen at KSOO Radio in Sioux Falls where we talked about teen sexting and some of the dangers that exist with that behavior.

As I mentioned during the interview many parents are at a place where they are behind their teens in tech awareness. Whereas many parents of teens grew up in a time where sexting was not even a consideration it is now an established and growing problem. I won't go into extensive details but the reality is that the photos that teens are sending don't go away and that many times having the photos or sending the photos is a crime. 

I can't stress the importance of discussing the pitfalls and dangers of this behavior with our teens. With open communication it is possible to educate and address this growing concern and empower our kids with healthy boundaries.
